Nedeljko Aščerić no longer in charge of Szolnoki Olaj

After Tuesday's defeat against Rumanian side BC Targu Mures in EuroChallenge, the management of Szolnoki Olaj decided that some changes in the team need to be done before the following games.

Despite losing to BC Targu Mures at home in EuroChallenge Cup 5th round, Szolnoki Olaj already qualified for the next round of the competition. However, due to the slow start in the ABA League (4-7) of the team with two former NBA players, the decision was made that something needs to be changed.

Head coach Nedeljko Ašćerić and the management of the club reached an agreement to mutually terminate the contract, so Serbian tactician will no longer be in charge of the team. His assistant Dragan Aleksić will coach the team until further notice.
