Opačak back in Široki Primorka

Široki Primorka immediately reacted after the injury of Stanko Barać and signed two ex-players on Wednesday, when Ivan Opačak and Karlo Vragović joined the club.

Opačak has a long history with the club from Herzegovina for which he was already playing in 2002/03 and between 2005 and 2007 but then moved abroad, first to Murcia, then Cedevita and in 2012 to Polish First Division club Turow. He was without the club since the beginning of this season and even played some games for Ćelik in the national championship of BIH before he received the offer from Široki. The 23-year-old Vragović first signed for Široki at the beginning of 2012/13 season while in the last few weeks he was member of the Croatian Second Division club Dubrava.

Opačak i Vragović se vratili u Široki

Nesretna ozljeda ponajboljeg igrača u u ovoj sezoni Borisa Baraća te njegovo dulje odsustvo s terena nagnala je Upravu Širokog Primorke da potraži nova imena. Sukladno tome službeno su potpisali Karlo Vragović i Ivan Opačak, za sve ljubitelje košarke u Širokom Brijegu dobro poznata imena koja su već prije igrali u našem klubu. Njih dvojica bi već u subotu u Zadru mogli pomoći ekipi jer je proces registracije u tijeku. Ovih dana bi u klub trebao doći još jednan viski igrača koji igra na poziciji 4/5. Opačak je član Širokog bio i u sezoni 2002./2003., te 2005/2007. a Vragović, koji je za Široki potpisao već početkom prošle sezone, dolazi iz hrvatskog A2 ligaša Dubrave.
