Szolnoki Olaj reinforced with the former NBA player

The only Hungarian representative in ABA League Szolnoki Olaj confirmed that they aim high this season, by bringing in former NBA player Justin Holiday, who attended the training camp of Utah Jazz this summer, but couldn't make it on their roster for this NBA season.

After the unsuccessful attempt to return to the strongest club competition in the world, Justin Holiday decided to try his luck in Europe and Szolnoki turned out to be an ideal team, which offered him to compete in competitions with high reputation, such as ABA League and EuroChallenge. The contract is signed until the end of this season.

Last season the player, who can play at both shooting guard and small forward positions, appeared nine times at NBA games wearing Philadelphia 76ers and averaged 4.7 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds, before he was sent to D-League team Idaho Stampede, where he spent the most of the season.

This is expected to be a great reinforcement for the Hungarian side, which is currently struggling due to injuries of two of their key players, Willie Warren and Marton Bader. However, Warren might already be back on court for Sunday's home game against Budućnost VOLI.
