Cedevita lands Ray

Croatian team Cedevita was forced to sign a new player after two of its key guards suffered injuries in the last period.

American Allan Ray will first had to go through a try-out period but could stay for months if he proves himself as an effective part of the team. Cedevita's coach Jasmin Repeša knows very good who he signed. It was Repeša who brought Ray to Europe in 2007, when he was coaching Rome. Afterwards Ray moved to Ferrara and Montegrenaro, he also played one games for Krka in 2011/12 season but than signed for Pau-Orthez. In 2012/13 season he was playing for Ulm and averaged 16,5 points per game. 


Allan Ray potpisao za Cedevitu

Cedevita je pronašla zamjenu za ozlijeđenog Marka Tomasa u liku Allana Raya. Treneru Jasminu Repeši dobro će doći i zbog činjenice da je Marino Baždarić zbog ozljede out još najmanje tjedan dana. Allan Ray bit će neko vrijeme na probnom roku. Inače, radi se o šuteru koji  može poslužiti i kao play a premijeru će imati protiv Crvene zvezde u Beogradu.

Inače, Repeša dobro poznaje Allana Raya jer ga je baš on doveo u Europu. Iz NBA lige, iz Boston Celticsa je 2007. godine Allan, koji je završio sveučilište Villanova, došao u Romu. Nakon toga je igrao još u Italiji za Ferraru i Montegranaro, bio je i u Krki, iz koje je rano u sezoni 2011/12. otišao u Pau Orthez. Na zanimljiv način, ostao je u Francuskoj kada je momčad iz Novog Mesta imala europsko gostovanje kod Le Mansa.  Lani je Ray igrao u Njemačkoj za Ulm te u Eurokupu ubacivao 16,5 poena po utakmici.
